This Dollar Tree fall decor idea is full of whimzy, and comes together quickly and easily with a pumpkin wreath form.
Happy Fall! I recently went to Dollar Tree on a hunt for pumpkins. The velvet pumpkins they carry the past few seasons are so pretty! This post contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links.
While I was looking at the fall decor aisles, I found some inspiration. These wire pumpkin wreath forms just called to me with possibility. Aren’t they cute?
Seeing them in the store, the idea popped in my mind of a Cinderella’s Pumpkin theme table decoration. So crafting playtime commenced!

First, I spray painted the pumpkin form gold. I used this gold spray paint from Rustoleum.
For a centerpiece, I saw a tutorial attaching two of these together with florals in the center, which is a great option! For my project, I decided to try using one, making a more rounded pumpkin to put on the buffet.
So, I bended it inward slightly to create a rounded pumpkin shape.
I used a staple gun to attach it at the bottom center to a small piece of scrap wood, about 4″x8″. First attached the very center, then stapled slightly to the left and right of center.

Finally, I added some faux florals and greenery.

Dollar Tree usually carries faux ivy, but they were out the day I went. Instead, I used a eucalyptus stem from Walmart.
I cut the florals with wire cutters, and used the florals to stabilize the pumpkin at the edges where it curves by tucking the stems underneath.
Finally, I added a real pumpkin! The little tiara crown on top is a broken costume tiara I found at home. I wrapped it smaller and added it on for extra Cinderella vibes!

Here is a brief video showing the process!
I had so much fun with this Dollar Tree craft for Fall. Wouldn’t it make cute decoration for a themed tea party?
Or, it would be just as pretty with candles. Leaving the frame black and going with dark florals, it could be fun Halloween decor as well!
