1. Queen Annes Lace Necklace
Even though Queen Anne’s Lace is not directly mentioned in the book series, can there really be a more beautiful and fitting representation of our girl? Even Phillipa calls her Queen Anne.

2. Staffordshire Dog Pairs
“Gog looks to the right and Magog to the left.”
These absolutely iconic Staffordshire dogs have stuck in my mind since I first read the series many moons ago, I longed for Gog and Magog. Now I have two sitting on my own fireplace. While green is hard to find, somehow this is just as fitting.

My friends who have also fallen in love with Anne, instantly know who they are when they see them, and my home is one step closer to being on Spofford Avenue.
“When I was a little girl, visiting at Grandfather Montgomery’s, I think the thing that most enthralled me was a pair of China dogs which always sat on the sitting room mantel piece…” – Lucy Maud Montgomery
3. Rose Spray Tea Cup
“Oh, Marilla, can I use the rosebud spray tea set?”
“No, indeed! The rosebud tea set! Well, what next? You know I never use that except for the minister or the Aids.”

The infamous Rose Spray Tea set in the book was based on a tea set that belonged to Lucy Maude Montgomery’s grandmother, and this is a close match of that pattern. Tea was a very important part of the series and the time period. You can live out your dreams with this rose spray tea cup. (what hers looks like)
4. Green Braided Rug
The braided rugs were one of the first signs of comfort when Anne first came to Green Gables. When Anne moved out of Green Gables, they were a comfortable reminder of home.

“Anne was curled up Turk-fashion on the hearthrug, gazing into that joyous glow where the sunshine of a hundred summers was being distilled from the maple cordwood. She had been reading, but her book had slipped to the floor, and now she was dreaming, with a smile on her parted lips. Glittering castles in Spain were shaping themselves out of the mists and rainbows of her lively fancy; adventures wonderful and enthralling were happening to her in cloudland—adventures that always turned out triumphantly and never involved her in scrapes like those of actual life.”
-Anne of Green Gables
“The floor was spotted with round, braided mats, such as Marilla made at Green Gables, but which were considered out_of date everywhere else, even in Avon- lea. And yet here they were or Spofford Avenue!” – Anne of the Island
“I’m giving Anne that half dozen braided rugs I have in the garret. I never supposed she’d want them–they’re so old-fashioned, and nobody seems to want anything but hooked mats now. But she asked me for them–said she’d rather have them than anything else for her floors. They are pretty. I made them out of the nicest rags, and braided them in stripes. It was such company these last few winters” Anne’s House of Dreams

5. Anne’s tea
To go with the rosebud tea set, this is a blend of tea inspired by and names for Anne lovers.

Tea is quintessential to Anne and the rest of the Avonlea, Marilla taught Anne to make it, and it was the highlight of social civility and adulthood to Anne. Many of the series noteworthy events even center around tea!
6. Amethyst Pendant
Anyone who knows Anne knows about Marilla and her brooch, and this amethyst pendant is a perfect nod to the beloved story.
“That amethyst brooch was Marilla’s most treasured possession. A seafaring uncle had given it to her mother who in turn had bequeathed it to Marilla. It was an old-fashioned oval, containing a braid of her mother’s hair, surrounded by a border of very fine amethysts”

Anne adored it as well!
“Oh, Marilla, it’s a perfectly elegant brooch. I don’t know how you can pay attention to the sermon or the prayers when you have it on. I couldn’t, I know. I think amethysts are just sweet. They are what I used to think diamonds were like. Long ago, before I had ever seen a diamond, I read about them and I tried to imagine what they would be like. I thought they would be lovely glimmering purple stones. When I saw a real diamond in a lady’s ring one day I was so disappointed I cried. Of course, it was very lovely but it wasn’t my idea of a diamond. Will you let me hold the brooch for one minute, Marilla? Do you think amethysts can be the souls of good violets?”
7. Ms. Lavender Floral Silk Scarf
Ms. Lavender makes an appearance in Anne of Avonlea. She is an older single woman who lives off the beaten path. She is authentically herself and is an instant kindred spirit. She often wears silk dresses, and what a better way to show her love than a silk lavender scarf. In the book she wears a silvery gray shawl, but this seems more fitting.

8. Jersey Cow Bowl Cover
Anne of Avonlea introduces us to the Jersey Cow that Matthew gave Anne, that ultimately that grew the friendship with Mr. Harrison…though still in true Anne fashion!
Anne was known for baking, and this is the jersey cow bowl cover for just that! These are often used to cover dough as it rises, though it’s uses are varied!

Christmas in the world of Anne is filled with warmth, connection and the magical warmth, connection and the magical wonders of life. These gifts are specially searched out to bring your person just that!
