I enjoy a good cup of tea, and getting my hands dirty in the garden.

I have a bit of an obsession with haberdashery. When we were stationed in Alabama, I discovered a filing cabinet full of vintage sewing patterns, and a trunk full of ribbon in an antique warehouse. That turned into an Etsy shop, JoyfullyTreasured, that offers vintage and inspired sewing and craft supplies.
Jason and I met before college, and were married three years later. We recently bought our amazing, all original 1960’s fixer upper. This is our little family. ❤ Time sure flies, little brother was born in June.
I’ve always marveled at the beauty of life…be it gardens, home decor, or fashion. Growing up, it felt like so much of it was out of reach. My sister and I lost our mother as young children, and our childhood was complicated.
However, I learned over time that you can make a gorgeous and happy home out of most anything, if you get creative!
I believe that all women deserve a beautiful home, and a beautiful life.
Home for me is an almost sacred place. The only place you can put down your burdens and feel at peace after a worrisome day…a beautiful haven full of love and acceptance.
